Hadith 2815 — Livre 16: Sacrifice (Kitab Al-Dahaya)
كتاب الضحايا
Rapporté par Shaddad b. Aws : Il y a deux qualités que j’ai entendues du Messager d’Allah ﷺ : « Allah a prescrit la bienfaisance en toute chose. Donc, quand vous tuez, faites-le de la meilleure manière. » Dans la version d’autres rapporteurs que Muslim, il est dit : « Tuez donc de la meilleure manière. » « Et quand vous égorgez, faites-le bien, que chacun aiguise son couteau et épargne à l’animal toute souffrance possible. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ خَصْلَتَانِ سَمِعْتُهُمَا مِنْ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ الإِحْسَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ فَإِذَا قَتَلْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا " . قَالَ غَيْرُ مُسْلِمٍ يَقُولُ " فَأَحْسِنُوا الْقِتْلَةَ وَإِذَا ذَبَحْتُمْ فَأَحْسِنُوا الذَّبْحَ وَلْيُحِدَّ أَحَدُكُمْ شَفْرَتَهُ وَلْيُرِحْ ذَبِيحَتَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Shaddad b. Aws:There are two characteristics that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Allah has decreed that everything should be done in a good way, so when you kill use a good method. The version of the narrators other than Muslim says: "So kill in a good manner." And when you slaughter, you should use a good method, for one of you should sharpen his knife, and give the animal as little pain as possible
Traduction en ourdou
ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( سفر میں ) قربانی کی اور کہا: ثوبان! اس بکری کا گوشت ہمارے لیے درست کرو ( بناؤ ) ، ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: تو میں برابر وہی گوشت آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کھلاتا رہا یہاں تک کہ ہم مدینہ آ گئے۔
