Rapporté par Jabir : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « N’offrez en sacrifice qu’un animal adulte, sauf si cela vous est difficile, alors vous pouvez sacrifier un agneau. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَذْبَحُوا إِلاَّ مُسِنَّةً إِلاَّ أَنْ يَعْسُرَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَذْبَحُوا جَذَعَةً مِنَ الضَّأْنِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: Sacrifice only a full-grown animal unless it is difficult for you, in which case sacrifice a lamb

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: صرف مسنہ ۱؎ ہی ذبح کرو، مسنہ نہ پاؤ تو بھیڑ کا جذعہ ذبح کرو ۔
