Hadith 2785 — Livre 15: Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)

Rapporté par un homme parmi les Compagnons du Prophète : Ubaydullah ibn Salman a rapporté d’un homme parmi les Compagnons du Prophète ﷺ : Lorsque nous avons conquis Khaybar, les gens ont sorti leur butin, qui comprenait du matériel et des captifs. Les gens ont commencé à acheter et vendre leur part. Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a prié, un homme est venu lui dire : « Ô Messager d’Allah, aujourd’hui j’ai gagné plus que quiconque dans cette vallée. » Il a demandé : « Malheur à toi, combien as-tu gagné ? » Il a répondu : « J’ai acheté et vendu jusqu’à gagner trois cents uqiyahs. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Veux-tu que je te dise qui a gagné mieux que toi ? » Il a demandé : « Qu’est-ce donc, ô Messager d’Allah ? » Il a répondu : « Deux rak’ahs (de prière surérogatoire) après la prière obligatoire. »

حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلاَّمٍ - عَنْ زَيْدٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلاَّمٍ - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلاَّمٍ، يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ لَمَّا فَتَحْنَا خَيْبَرَ أَخْرَجُوا غَنَائِمَهُمْ مِنَ الْمَتَاعِ وَالسَّبْىِ فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَتَبَايَعُونَ غَنَائِمَهُمْ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ حِينَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَبِحْتُ رِبْحًا مَا رَبِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِثْلَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ هَذَا الْوَادِي قَالَ " وَيْحَكَ وَمَا رَبِحْتَ " . قَالَ مَا زِلْتُ أَبِيعُ وَأَبْتَاعُ حَتَّى رَبِحْتُ ثَلاَثَمِائَةِ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَنَا أُنَبِّئُكَ بِخَيْرِ رَجُلٍ رَبِحَ " . قَالَ مَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated A man from the Companions of the Prophet: Ubaydullah ibn Salman reported on the authority of a man from the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ): When we conquered Khaybar, they (the people) took out their spoils which contained equipment and captives. The people began to buy and sell their spoils. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed, a man came to him and said: Messenger of Allah, I have gained today so much so that no one gained from this valley. He asked: Woe unto you, how much did you gain? He replied: I kept on selling and buying until I gained three hundred uqiyahs. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I tell you a man who gained better than you. He asked: What is that, Messenger of Allah? He replied! Two rak'ahs (of supererogatory prayer) after the (obligatory) prayer

عبیداللہ بن سلمان نے بیان کیا ہے کہ ایک صحابی نے ان سے کہا کہ جب ہم نے خیبر فتح کیا تو لوگوں نے اپنے اپنے غنیمت کے سامان اور قیدی نکالے اور ان کی خرید و فروخت کرنے لگے، اتنے میں ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس جس وقت آپ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے آیا اور کہنے لگا: اللہ کے رسول! آج میں نے اس وادی میں جتنا نفع کمایا ہے اتنا کسی نے نہ کمایا ہو گا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تباہی ہو تیرے لیے، کیا نفع کمایا تو نے؟ بولا: میں برابر بیچتا اور خریدتا رہا، یہاں تک کہ میں نے تین سو اوقیہ نفع کمائے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں تجھے ایک ایسے شخص کے بارے میں بتاتا ہوں جس نے ( تجھ سے ) زیادہ نفع کمایا ہے اس نے پوچھا: وہ کون ہے؟ اللہ کے رسول! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ جس نے فرض نماز کے بعد دو رکعت ( سنت کی ) پڑھی ۔
