كتاب الجهاد
Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه a dit : « Nous sommes sortis avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ l’année de Khaybar. Nous n’avons pas eu d’or ni d’argent dans le butin de guerre, seulement des vêtements, du matériel et des biens. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a envoyé un détachement vers Wadi Al Qura. On a présenté au Messager d’Allah ﷺ un esclave noir appelé Mid’am. Pendant qu’ils étaient à Wadi Al Qura et que Mid’am était en train de décharger un chameau appartenant au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, il a été touché par une flèche perdue qui l’a tué. Les gens ont dit : “Félicitations à lui, il ira au paradis.” Mais le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : “Pas du tout. Par Celui qui détient mon âme dans Sa main, le manteau qu’il a pris le jour de Khaybar parmi les butins, qui ne faisait pas partie des parts attribuées, brûlera sur lui avec le feu.” Quand les gens ont entendu cela, un homme a apporté une lanière de sandale, ou deux, au Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : “Une lanière de sandale de feu, ou deux lanières de sandale de feu.” »

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الدِّيلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ مُطِيعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَامَ خَيْبَرَ فَلَمْ يَغْنَمْ ذَهَبًا وَلاَ وَرِقًا إِلاَّ الثِّيَابَ وَالْمَتَاعَ وَالأَمْوَالَ - قَالَ - فَوَجَّهَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَ وَادِي الْقُرَى وَقَدْ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَبْدٌ أَسْوَدُ يُقَالُ لَهُ مِدْعَمٌ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِوَادِي الْقُرَى فَبَيْنَا مِدْعَمٌ يَحُطُّ رَحْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذْ جَاءَهُ سَهْمٌ فَقَتَلَهُ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ هَنِيئًا لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ . فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " كَلاَّ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ الشَّمْلَةَ الَّتِي أَخَذَهَا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ مِنَ الْمَغَانِمِ لَمْ تُصِبْهَا الْمَقَاسِمُ لَتَشْتَعِلُ عَلَيْهِ نَارًا " . فَلَمَّا سَمِعُوا ذَلِكَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ بِشِرَاكٍ أَوْ شِرَاكَيْنِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " شِرَاكٌ مِنْ نَارٍ " . أَوْ قَالَ " شِرَاكَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Hurairah said “We went out along with the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) in the year of Khaibar. We did not get gold or silver in the booty of war except clothes, equipment and property. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) sent (a detachment) towards Wadi Al Qura. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) was presented a black slave called Mid’am. And while they were in Wadi Al Qura and Mid’am was unsaddling a Camel belonging to the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) he was struck by a random arrow which killed him. The people said “Congratulations to him, he will go to paradise. But the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said “Not at all. By Him in Whose hand my soul is the cloak he took on the day of Khaibar from the spoils which was not among the shares divided will blaze with fire upon him. When they (the people) heard that, a man brought a sandal strap or two sandal straps to the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ). The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said “A sandal strap of fire or two sandal straps of fire.”

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ خیبر کے سال نکلے، تو ہمیں غنیمت میں نہ سونا ہاتھ آیا نہ چاندی، البتہ کپڑے اور مال و اسباب ملے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وادی القری کی جانب چلے اور آپ کو ایک کالا غلام ہدیہ میں دیا گیا تھا جس کا نام مدعم تھا، جب لوگ وادی القری میں پہنچے تو مدعم آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اونٹ کا پالان اتار رہا تھا، اتنے میں اس کو ایک تیر آ لگا اور وہ مر گیا، لوگوں نے کہا: اس کے لیے جنت کی مبارک بادی ہو، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہرگز نہیں، قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! وہ چادر جو اس نے خیبر کی لڑائی میں غنیمت کے مال سے تقسیم سے قبل لی تھی اس پر آگ بن کر بھڑک رہی ہے ، جب لوگوں نے یہ سنا تو ایک شخص ایک یا دو تسمے لے کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ آگ کا ایک تسمہ ہے یا فرمایا: آگ کے دو تسمے ہیں ۔
