Rapporté par Abdullah ibn AbuAwfa : Muhammad ibn AbulMujahid rapporte qu’Abdullah ibn AbuAwfa a dit : J’ai demandé : « Préleviez-vous le cinquième de la nourriture à l’époque du Messager d’Allah ﷺ ? » Il a répondu : « Le jour de Khaybar, nous avons capturé de la nourriture, et chacun venait en prendre la quantité dont il avait besoin, puis repartait. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مُجَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ قُلْتُ هَلْ كُنْتُمْ تُخَمِّسُونَ - يَعْنِي الطَّعَامَ - فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ أَصَبْنَا طَعَامًا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَجِيءُ فَيَأْخُذُ مِنْهُ مِقْدَارَ مَا يَكْفِيهِ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn AbuAwfa: Muhammad ibn AbulMujahid reported Abdullah ibn AbuAwfa as saying: I asked: Did you set aside the fifth of the food in the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)? He replied: On the day of Khaybar we captured food and a man would come and take as much food of it as needed and then go away

عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے پوچھا: کیا آپ لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں غلہ کا پانچواں حصہ نکالا کرتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں خیبر کے دن غلہ ملا تو آدمی آتا اور اس میں سے کھانے کی مقدار میں لے لیتا پھر واپس چلا جاتا۔
