كتاب الجهاد
Marwan et Al Miswar ibn Makhramah ont rapporté que lorsque la délégation des Hawazin vint voir les musulmans et demanda au Messager d’Allah ﷺ de leur rendre leurs biens, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ leur dit : « Avec moi, il y a ceux que vous voyez. » Le discours qui m’est le plus cher est celui qui est vrai. Choisissez donc : soit les captifs, soit les biens. Ils dirent : « Nous choisissons nos captifs. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ se leva, loua Allah, puis dit : « Pour continuer, vos frères sont venus repentants. J’ai pensé qu’il serait juste de leur rendre leurs captifs, alors que ceux d’entre vous qui veulent les libérer le fassent, mais ceux qui souhaitent garder ce qu’ils ont jusqu’à ce que nous leur donnions une part du premier butin qu’Allah nous accordera peuvent le faire. » Les gens dirent : « Nous sommes d’accord pour cela, Messager d’Allah. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dit : « Nous ne pouvons pas distinguer ceux d’entre vous qui ont accepté de ceux qui ne l’ont pas fait, alors retournez jusqu’à ce que vos chefs nous informent de votre décision. » Les gens repartirent, leurs chefs leur parlèrent, puis ils revinrent pour dire qu’ils étaient d’accord et avaient donné leur autorisation

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي، - يَعْنِي سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ وَذَكَرَ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ مَرْوَانَ، وَالْمِسْوَرَ بْنَ مَخْرَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَاهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ حِينَ جَاءَهُ وَفْدُ هَوَازِنَ مُسْلِمِينَ فَسَأَلُوهُ أَنْ يَرُدَّ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَعِي مَنْ تَرَوْنَ وَأَحَبُّ الْحَدِيثِ إِلَىَّ أَصْدَقُهُ فَاخْتَارُوا إِمَّا السَّبْىَ وَإِمَّا الْمَالَ " . فَقَالُوا نَخْتَارُ سَبْيَنَا فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَثْنَى عَلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ إِخْوَانَكُمْ هَؤُلاَءِ جَاءُوا تَائِبِينَ وَإِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ إِلَيْهِمْ سَبْيَهُمْ فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يُطَيِّبَ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْعَلْ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَى حَظِّهِ حَتَّى نُعْطِيَهُ إِيَّاهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ مَا يُفِيءُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا فَلْيَفْعَلْ " . فَقَالَ النَّاسُ قَدْ طَيَّبْنَا ذَلِكَ لَهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّا لاَ نَدْرِي مَنْ أَذِنَ مِنْكُمْ مِمَّنْ لَمْ يَأْذَنْ فَارْجِعُوا حَتَّى يَرْفَعَ إِلَيْنَا عُرَفَاؤُكُمْ أَمْرَكُمْ " . فَرَجَعَ النَّاسُ فَكَلَّمَهُمْ عُرَفَاؤُهُمْ فَأَخْبَرُوهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ طَيَّبُوا وَأَذِنُوا .
Traduction anglaise
Marwan and Al Miswar bin Makhramah told that when the deputation of the Hawazin came to the Muslims and asked the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) to return to them their property, the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said to them “with me are those whom you see”. The speech dearest to me is the one which is true, so choose (one of the two) either the captives or the property. They said “We choose our captives. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) stood up, extolled Allaah and then said “To proceed, your brethren have come repentant I have considered that I should return their captives to them, so let those of you who are willing to release the captives act accordingly, but those who wish to hold on to what they have till we give them some of the first booty Allaah gives us may do so. The people said “We are willing for that (to release their captives), Apostle of Allaah. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said “We cannot distinguish between those of you who have granted that and those who have not , so return till your headmen may tell us about your affair. The people then returned and their headmen spoke to them, then they informed that they were agreeable and had given their permission

ابن شہاب زہری کہتے ہیں کہ عروہ بن زبیر نے ذکر کیا کہ انہیں مروان اور مسور بن مخرمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ جس وقت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس وفد ہوازن مسلمان ہو کر آیا اور اس نے آپ سے درخواست کی کہ آپ ان کے مال انہیں واپس لوٹا دیں، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: میرے ساتھ جو ہیں انہیں تم دیکھ رہے ہو، اور میرے نزدیک سب سے عمدہ بات سچی بات ہے تم یا تو قیدیوں ( کی واپسی ) اختیار کر لو یا مال ، انہوں نے کہا: ہم اپنے قیدیوں کو اختیار کریں گے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے، اللہ کی حمد و ثنا بیان کی اس کے بعد فرمایا: تمہارے یہ بھائی ( شرک سے ) توبہ کر کے آئے ہیں، میں چاہتا ہوں کہ ان کے قیدیوں کو واپس لوٹا دوں، لہٰذا تم میں سے جو شخص اپنی خوشی سے واپس لوٹا سکتا ہو تو وہ واپس لوٹا دے، اور جو شخص اپنا حصہ لینے پر مصر ہے تو پہلا مال غنیمت جو اللہ ہم کو دے ہم اس میں سے اس کا عوض دیں تو وہ ایسا ہی کر لے ، لوگوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم نے انہیں بخوشی واپس لوٹا دیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: ہم نہیں جانتے کہ تم میں سے کس نے اجازت دی، اور کس نے نہیں دی؟ لہٰذا تم واپس جاؤ یہاں تک کہ تمہارے سردار معاملہ کی تفصیل ہمارے پاس لے کر آئیں ، لوگ لوٹ گئے، اور ان سے ان کے سرداروں نے بات کی تو انہوں نے اپنے سرداروں کو بتایا کہ انہوں نے خوشی خوشی اجازت دی ہے۔
