Hadith 2669 — Livre 15: Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Rabah ibn Rabi’ رضي الله عنه : Lorsque nous étions avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ en expédition, il a vu des gens rassemblés autour de quelque chose et a envoyé un homme demander : « Va voir pourquoi ces gens sont réunis. » Il est revenu et a dit : « Ils sont autour d’une femme qui a été tuée. » Il a dit : « Ce n’est pas une personne contre qui il fallait se battre. » Khalid ibn al-Walid était à la tête de l’avant-garde ; alors il a envoyé un homme lui dire : « Dis à Khalid de ne pas tuer de femme ni de serviteur engagé. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْمُرَقِّعِ بْنِ صَيْفِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، رَبَاحِ بْنِ رَبِيعٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي غَزْوَةٍ فَرَأَى النَّاسَ مُجْتَمِعِينَ عَلَى شَىْءٍ فَبَعَثَ رَجُلاً فَقَالَ " انْظُرْ عَلاَمَ اجْتَمَعَ هَؤُلاَءِ " فَجَاءَ فَقَالَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ قَتِيلٍ . فَقَالَ " مَا كَانَتْ هَذِهِ لِتُقَاتِلَ " . قَالَ وَعَلَى الْمُقَدِّمَةِ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ فَبَعَثَ رَجُلاً فَقَالَ " قُلْ لِخَالِدٍ لاَ يَقْتُلَنَّ امْرَأَةً وَلاَ عَسِيفًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Rabah ibn Rabi': When we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on an expedition, he saw some people collected together over something and sent a man and said: See, what are these people collected around? He then came and said: They are round a woman who has been killed. He said: This is not one with whom fighting should have taken place. Khalid ibn al-Walid was in charge of the van; so he sent a man and said: Tell Khalid not to kill a woman or a hired servant
Traduction en ourdou
رباح بن ربیع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایک غزوہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے، آپ نے دیکھا کہ لوگ کسی چیز کے پاس اکٹھا ہیں تو ایک آدمی کو بھیجا اور فرمایا: جاؤ، دیکھو یہ لوگ کس چیز کے پاس اکٹھا ہیں ، وہ دیکھ کر آیا اور اس نے بتایا کہ لوگ ایک مقتول عورت کے پاس اکٹھا ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ تو ایسی نہیں تھی کہ قتال کرے ۱؎، مقدمۃ الجیش ( فوج کے اگلے حصہ ) پر خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ مقرر تھے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص سے خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس کہلا بھیجا کہ وہ ہرگز کسی عورت کو نہ ماریں اور نہ کسی مزدور کو ۲؎۔
