Hadith 2662 — Livre 15: Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Al Bara’ bin Azib رضي الله عنه : « Le jour de la bataille de Uhud, l’Envoyé d’Allah ﷺ a nommé ‘Abd Allah bin Jubair chef des archers, qui étaient cinquante. Il a dit : “Si vous voyez que les oiseaux nous emportent, ne quittez pas votre place tant que je ne vous en donne pas l’ordre. Et si vous voyez que nous avons vaincu l’ennemi et que nous les poursuivons, ne bougez pas tant que je ne vous en donne pas l’ordre.” Allah les a ensuite vaincus. Je jure par Allah, j’ai vu des femmes monter sur la montagne. Les compagnons de ‘Abd Allah bin Jubair ont dit : “Butin, ô gens, butin ! Vos compagnons ont vaincu, pourquoi attendre ?” ‘Abd Allah bin Jubair leur a dit : “Avez-vous oublié ce que l’Envoyé d’Allah ﷺ vous a dit ?” Ils ont répondu : “Par Allah, nous allons rejoindre les gens et prendre le butin.” Ils sont donc partis, mais ils ont été battus et sont revenus vaincus. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الرُّمَاةِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ - وَكَانُوا خَمْسِينَ رَجُلاً - عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ وَقَالَ " إِنْ رَأَيْتُمُونَا تَخَطَّفُنَا الطَّيْرُ فَلاَ تَبْرَحُوا مِنْ مَكَانِكُمْ هَذَا حَتَّى أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِنْ رَأَيْتُمُونَا هَزَمْنَا الْقَوْمَ وَأَوْطَأْنَاهُمْ فَلاَ تَبْرَحُوا حَتَّى أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ " . قَالَ فَهَزَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ . قَالَ فَأَنَا وَاللَّهِ رَأَيْتُ النِّسَاءَ يَشْتَدِدْنَ عَلَى الْجَبَلِ فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ الْغَنِيمَةَ أَىْ قَوْمِ الْغَنِيمَةَ ظَهَرَ أَصْحَابُكُمْ فَمَا تَنْتَظِرُونَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ أَنَسِيتُمْ مَا قَالَ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالُوا وَاللَّهِ لَنَأْتِيَنَّ النَّاسَ فَلَنُصِيبَنَّ مِنَ الْغَنِيمَةِ فَأَتَوْهُمْ فَصُرِفَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ وَأَقْبَلُوا مُنْهَزِمِينَ .
Traduction anglaise
Al bara’ bin Azib said “On the day of the battle of Uhud the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) appointed ‘Abd Allaah bin Jubair commander of the archers who were fifty(in number). He said “If you see that the birds are snatching at us, do not move from this place of yours until I send for you and if you see that we defeated the people (the enemy) and trod them down, do not move until I send for you. Allaah then defeated them. He (narrator) said “I swear by Allaah, I saw women ascending the mountain. The companions of ‘Abd Allaah bin Jubair said “Booty, O People, booty! Your companions vanquished, for what are you waiting?” ‘Ad Allaah bin Jubair said “Have you forgotten what the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) had told you?” They said “We swear by Allaah. We shall come to the people and get the booty. So they came to them. Their faces were turned and they came defeated.”

براء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جنگ احد میں عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کو تیر اندازوں کا امیر بنایا ان کی تعداد پچاس تھی اور فرمایا: اگر تم دیکھو کہ ہم کو پرندے اچک رہے ہیں پھر بھی اپنی اس جگہ سے نہ ہٹنا یہاں تک کہ میں تمہیں بلاؤں اور اگر تم دیکھو کہ ہم نے کافروں کو شکست دے دی ہے، انہیں روند ڈالا ہے، پھر بھی اس جگہ سے نہ ہٹنا، یہاں تک کہ میں تمہیں بلاؤں ، پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے کافروں کو شکست دی اور اللہ کی قسم میں نے مشرکین کی عورتوں کو دیکھا کہ بھاگ کر پہاڑوں پر چڑھنے لگیں، عبداللہ بن جبیر کے ساتھی کہنے لگے: لوگو! غنیمت، غنیمت، تمہارے ساتھی غالب آ گئے تو اب تمہیں کس چیز کا انتظار ہے؟ اس پر عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: کیا تم وہ بات بھول گئے جو تم سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہی ہے؟ تو ان لوگوں نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! ہم ضرور مشرکین کے پاس جائیں گے اور مال غنیمت لوٹیں گے، چنانچہ وہ ہٹ گئے تو اللہ نے ان کے منہ پھیر دئیے اور وہ شکست کھا کر واپس آئے۔
