كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Abu Umamah رضي الله عنه : « Un homme a dit : “Messager d’Allah, permets-moi de voyager pour l’adoration.” Le Prophète ﷺ a répondu : “Le voyage de ma communauté, c’est de lutter dans le chemin d’Allah, le Très-Haut.” »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ التَّنُوخِيُّ أَبُو الْجَمَاهِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلاَءُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ائْذَنْ لِي فِي السِّيَاحَةِ . قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ سِيَاحَةَ أُمَّتِي الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated AbuUmamah: A man said: Messenger of Allah, allow tourism for me. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The tourism of my people is striving in the path of Allah, the Exalted

ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! مجھے سیاحت کی اجازت دے دیجئیے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میری امت کی سیاحت اللہ کے راہ میں جہاد کرنا ہے ۔
