كتاب الجهاد
‘Amir a dit : « Un homme est venu voir ‘Abd Allah bin ‘Amr رضي الله عنه alors que des gens étaient avec lui. Il s’est assis et lui a dit : “Dis-moi quelque chose que tu as entendu du Messager d’Allah ﷺ.” Il a dit : “J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : ‘Le musulman est celui dont les autres musulmans sont à l’abri de sa langue et de sa main, et l’émigrant est celui qui abandonne ce qu’Allah a interdit.’” »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ، قَالَ أَتَى رَجُلٌ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو وَعِنْدَهُ الْقَوْمُ حَتَّى جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ أَخْبِرْنِي بِشَىْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
‘Amir said “A man came to ‘Abd Allaah bin ‘Amr while the people were with him. He sat with him and said “Tell me anything that you heard from the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ)”. He said “I hears the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) say “A Muslim is he from whose tongue and hand the Muslims remain safe and an emigrant is he who abandons what Allaah has prohibited.””

عامر شعبی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس آیا، ان کے پاس کچھ لوگ بیٹھے تھے یہاں تک کہ وہ بھی آ کر آپ کے پاس بیٹھ گیا اور کہنے لگا: مجھے کوئی ایسی بات بتائیے جو آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہو، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: مسلمان وہ ہے جس کے ہاتھ اور زبان سے مسلمان محفوظ رہیں، اور مہاجر وہ ہے جو اللہ کی منع کردہ چیزوں کو چھوڑ دے ۔
