كتاب الصوم
Safiyyah رضي الله عنها a dit : Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ faisait l’i’tikaf (à la mosquée), je venais lui rendre visite. Je parlais avec lui puis je me levais pour repartir, et il se levait aussi pour m’accompagner jusqu’à la maison. Sa demeure se trouvait chez Usamah b. Zaid. Deux hommes des Ansar sont passés à ce moment-là. En voyant le Prophète ﷺ, ils ont accéléré le pas. Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Restez tranquilles, c’est Safiyyah, la fille de Huyayy. » Ils ont dit : « Gloire à Allah, Messager d’Allah ! » Il a dit : « Satan circule dans l’homme comme le sang. J’ai eu peur qu’il ne mette quelque chose dans vos esprits, ou bien le mal. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَبُّويَةَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُعْتَكِفًا فَأَتَيْتُهُ أَزُورُهُ لَيْلاً فَحَدَّثْتُهُ ثُمَّ قُمْتُ فَانْقَلَبْتُ فَقَامَ مَعِي لِيَقْلِبَنِي - وَكَانَ مَسْكَنُهَا فِي دَارِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ - فَمَرَّ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَلَمَّا رَأَيَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَسْرَعَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " عَلَى رِسْلِكُمَا إِنَّهَا صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَىٍّ " . قَالاَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَجْرِي مِنَ الإِنْسَانِ مَجْرَى الدَّمِ فَخَشِيتُ أَنْ يَقْذِفَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمَا شَيْئًا " . أَوْ قَالَ " شَرًّا " .
Traduction anglaise
Safiyyah said:When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was observing I'tikaf (in the mosque), I would come to him to visit him. I had a talk with him and then stood up. I then returned and he (the Prophet) also stood up to accompany me (to my house). Her dwelling place was in the house of Usamah b. Zaid. Two men from the Ansar (helpers) passed (by him at the moment). When they saw the Prophet (ﷺ), they walked quickly. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Be at ease, she is Safiyyah daughter of Huyayy. They said: Be glory to Allah, Messenger of Allah! He said: Satan runs in man like blood. I feared he might inspire something in your mind, or he said: evil (the narrator doubted)

ام المؤمنین صفیہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم معتکف تھے تو میں رات میں ملاقات کی غرض سے آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے میں نے بات چیت کی، پھر میں کھڑی ہو کر چلنے لگی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی مجھے واپس کرنے کے لیے کھڑے ہو گئے، ( اس وقت ان کی رہائش اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما کے مکان میں تھی ) اتنے میں دو انصاری وہاں سے گزرے، وہ آپ کو دیکھ کر تیزی سے نکلنے لگے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ٹھہرو، یہ صفیہ بنت حیی ( میری بیوی ) ہے ( ایسا نہ ہو کہ تمہیں کوئی غلط فہمی ہو جائے ) ، وہ بولے: سبحان اللہ! اللہ کے رسول! ( آپ کے متعلق ایسی بدگمانی ہو ہی نہیں سکتی ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: شیطان انسان کی رگوں میں خون کی طرح دوڑتا ہے، مجھے اندیشہ ہوا کہ کہیں وہ تمہارے دل میں کچھ ( یا کہا: کوئی شر ) نہ ڈال دے ۔
