Rapporté par Qatadah ibn Malhan al-Qaysi : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous ordonnait de jeûner les jours blancs : le treizième, le quatorzième et le quinzième du mois. Il a dit : « C’est comme jeûner tout le temps. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَخِي مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مِلْحَانَ الْقَيْسِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَصُومَ الْبِيضَ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ . قَالَ وَقَالَ " هُنَّ كَهَيْئَةِ الدَّهْرِ " .

Narrated Qatadah Ibn Malhan al-Qaysi: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to command us to fast the days of the white (nights): thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth of the month. He said: This is like keeping perpetual fast

قتادہ بن ملحان قیسی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمیں ایام بیض یعنی تیرھویں، چودھویں اور پندرھویں تاریخوں میں روزے رکھنے کا حکم فرماتے، اور فرماتے: یہ پورے سال روزے رکھنے کے مثل ہے
