كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par ‘Uthman ibn Hakim : J’ai demandé à Sa’id ibn Jubair au sujet du jeûne pendant Rajab. Il a dit : « Ibn ‘Abbas m’a dit que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ jeûnait tellement que nous pensions qu’il ne romprait jamais son jeûne, et il s’abstenait de jeûner à tel point que nous pensions qu’il ne jeûnerait jamais. »

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَكِيمٍ - قَالَ سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ صِيَامِ رَجَبَ، فَقَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ لاَ يُفْطِرُ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ لاَ يَصُومُ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Uthman b. Hakim:I asked Sa'id b. Jubair about fasting during Rajab. He said: Ibn 'Abbas told me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast to such an extent that we thought that he would never break his fast; and he would go without fasting to such an extent that we thought he would never fast
Traduction en ourdou
ثمان بن حکیم کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سعید بن جبیر سے رجب کے روزوں کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے مجھے بتایا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزے رکھتے تو رکھتے چلے جاتے یہاں تک کہ ہم کہتے: افطار ہی نہیں کریں گے، اسی طرح جب روزے چھوڑتے تو چھوڑتے چلے جاتے یہاں تک کہ ہم کہتے: اب روزے رکھیں گے ہی نہیں۔
