Hadith 2407 — Livre 14: Fasting (Kitab Al-Siyam)

Rapporté par Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a vu un homme allongé à l’ombre, entouré de gens pendant un voyage. Il a dit : « Jeûner en voyage ne fait pas partie de la piété. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ - عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَسَنٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَأَى رَجُلاً يُظَلَّلُ عَلَيْهِ وَالزِّحَامُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ " لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir b. 'Abd Allah :The Prophet (ﷺ) saw a man who had been put in the shade and saw a crowd of people around him (in the course of a journey). He said: Fasting while on journey is not part of righteousness

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا جس پر سایہ کیا جا رہا تھا اور اس پر بھیڑ لگی تھی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سفر میں روزہ رکھنا کوئی نیکی کا کام نہیں ۔
