La tradition précédente a aussi été transmise par Malik par une autre chaîne de rapporteurs. (‘Abd Al Rahman bin Mahdi) n’a pas mentionné le mot « piliers ». Cette version ajoute : « Il a ensuite prié, et il y avait une distance de trois coudées entre lui et la qibla. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الأَذْرَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ السَّوَارِيَ قَالَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ ثَلاَثَةُ أَذْرُعٍ .
Traduction anglaise
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Malik through a different chain of narrators. He (‘Abd Al Rahman bin Mahdi) did not mention the words “pillars”. This version adds “He then prayed and there was a distance of three cubits between him and the qiblah.”

اس سند سے بھی مالک سے یہی حدیث مروی ہے اس میں ستونوں کا ذکر نہیں، البتہ اتنا اضافہ ہے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پڑھی، آپ کے اور قبلے کے درمیان تین ہاتھ کا فاصلہ تھا ۔
