Ce même récit a aussi été transmis par Al Zuhri avec une autre chaîne de transmetteurs commençant par Ibn Hanbal d’après Hammad. Cette version ajoute : « Avec un iqamah pour chaque prière, il n’a pas fait l’appel à la prière (adhan) pour la première prière et il n’a pas accompli de prière surérogatoire après aucune d’elles. » Le rapporteur Makhlad a dit : « Il n’a pas fait l’adhan pour aucune d’elles. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، - الْمَعْنَى - أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِإِسْنَادِ ابْنِ حَنْبَلٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، وَمَعْنَاهُ، قَالَ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ وَلَمْ يُنَادِ فِي الأُولَى وَلَمْ يُسَبِّحْ عَلَى أَثَرِ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا . قَالَ مَخْلَدٌ لَمْ يُنَادِ فِي وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا .
Traduction anglaise
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted to the same effect by by Al Zuhri with a different chain of narrators beginning with Ibn Hanbal on the authority of Hammad. This version adds “With an iqamah for every prayer, he did not call adhan for the first prayer and he did not offer supererogatory prayer after any of them. The narrator Makhlad said “He did not call adhan for any of them.”

اس سند سے بھی زہری سے ابن حنبل کی سند سے انہوں نے حماد سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث روایت کی ہے اس میں ہے: ہر نماز کے لیے ایک الگ اقامت کہی اور پہلی نماز کے لیے اذان نہیں دی اور نہ ان دونوں میں سے کسی کے بعد نفل پڑھی۔ مخلد کہتے ہیں: ان دونوں میں سے کسی نماز کے لیے اذان نہیں دی۔
