Ce même récit a aussi été rapporté par ‘Amr bin Shu’aib par une autre chaîne. Cette version dit : À propos de la brebis égarée, il a dit : « Toi, ton frère ou le loup pouvez l’avoir. Prends-la donc. » Une version similaire a été rapportée par Ayyub et Ya’qub bin `Ata d’après `Amr bin Shu’aib, du Prophète ﷺ. Il a dit : « Prends-la alors. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَخْنَسِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، بِهَذَا بِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ فِي ضَالَّةِ الْغَنَمِ " لَكَ أَوْ لأَخِيكَ أَوْ لِلذِّئْبِ خُذْهَا قَطُّ " . كَذَا قَالَ فِيهِ أَيُّوبُ وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " فَخُذْهَا " .
Traduction anglaise
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by ‘Amr bin Shu’aib through a different chain of narrators. This version has:He said about the stray sheep: You, your brother or the wolf may have them. Do take it. A similar version has been transmitted by Ayyub and Ya’qub bin `Ata from `Amr bin Shu’aid from the Propher (SWAS). He said : then take it

اس طریق سے بھی عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے یہی حدیث مروی ہے اس میں ہے: گمشدہ بکری کے متعلق آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ بکری تمہاری ہے یا تمہارے بھائی کی یا بھیڑیئے کی، تو اسے پکڑے رکھو ۔ اسی طرح ایوب اور یعقوب بن عطا نے عمرو بن شعیب سے اور انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( مرسلاً ) روایت کی ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا: تو تم اسے پکڑے رکھو ۔
