Rapporté par Khuzaymah ibn Thabit : On a interrogé le Prophète ﷺ au sujet de la purification après être allé aux toilettes. Il a dit : « (Il faut se nettoyer) avec trois pierres qui ne doivent pas être souillées par des excréments. » Abu Dawud a ajouté : Un hadith similaire a été rapporté par Abu Usamah et Ibn Numair d’après Hisham

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ الاِسْتِطَابَةِ فَقَالَ " بِثَلاَثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا رَجِيعٌ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ كَذَا رَوَاهُ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُرْوَةَ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Khuzaymah ibn Thabit: The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about cleansing (after relieving oneself). He said: (One should cleanse oneself) with three stones which should be free from dung. Abu Dawud said: A similar tradition has been narrated by Abu Usamah and Ibn Numair from Hisham

خزیمہ بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے استنجاء کے متعلق سوال کیا گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: استنجاء تین پتھروں سے کرو جن میں گوبر نہ ہو ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے ابواسامہ اور ابن نمیر نے بھی ہشام بن عروہ سے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے۔
