Rapporté par Abd Allah b. ‘Amr al-‘As رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui se lave le vendredi, met le parfum de sa femme si elle en a, porte de beaux vêtements, ne marche pas sur les gens (dans la mosquée pour s’asseoir devant) et ne parle pas inutilement pendant le sermon, cela effacera ses péchés entre deux vendredis. Mais celui qui parle inutilement ou marche sur les gens, ce vendredi comptera pour lui comme une prière du midi ordinaire. »

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمِصْرِيَّانِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، - قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَقِيلٍ - أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ - عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَمَسَّ مِنْ طِيبِ امْرَأَتِهِ - إِنْ كَانَ لَهَا - وَلَبِسَ مِنْ صَالِحِ ثِيَابِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتَخَطَّ رِقَابَ النَّاسِ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْعِظَةِ كَانَتْ كَفَّارَةً لِمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَنْ لَغَا وَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ كَانَتْ لَهُ ظُهْرًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Abd Allah b. 'Amr al-'As reported the Prophet (ﷺ) as saying:Whoever washed himself on Friday and applies perfume of his wife if she has one, and wears good clothes and does not step over the necks of the people (in the mosque to sit in the front row) and does not indulge in idle talk during the sermon, that will atone (for his sins) between the two Fridays. But he who indulges in idle talk and steps over the necks of people (in the mosque), that (Friday) will be for him like the noon prayer
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص جمعہ کے دن غسل کرے، اپنی عورت کی خوشبو میں سے اگر اس کے پاس ہو لگائے، اپنے اچھے کپڑے زیب تن کرے، پھر لوگوں کی گردنیں نہ پھاندے اور خطبہ کے وقت بیکار کام نہ کرے، تو یہ اس جمعہ سے اس ( یعنی پچھلے ) جمعہ تک کے گناہوں کا کفارہ ہو گا، اور جو بلا ضرورت ( بیہودہ ) باتیں بکے، اور لوگوں کی گردنیں پھاندے، تو وہ جمعہ اس کے لیے ظہر ہو گا ۔
