Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه : Chez les juifs, lorsqu’une femme avait ses règles, ils la faisaient sortir de la maison, ne mangeaient ni ne buvaient avec elle, et ne restaient pas avec elle dans leurs maisons. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ fut interrogé à ce sujet. Alors Allah révéla : « Ils t’interrogent au sujet des menstrues. Dis : c’est une gêne, éloignez-vous donc des femmes pendant les menstrues » (Sourate 2, verset 222). Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dit alors : « Restez avec elles dans les maisons et faites tout sauf avoir des rapports sexuels. » Les juifs dirent alors : « Cet homme ne veut rien laisser de ce que nous faisons sans s’y opposer. » Usaid ibn Hudair et Abbad ibn Bishr vinrent et dirent : « Messager d’Allah, les juifs disent ceci et cela. Devons-nous alors avoir des rapports avec les femmes pendant leurs règles ? » Le visage du Messager d’Allah ﷺ changea à tel point que nous avons cru qu’il était en colère contre eux. Mais lorsqu’ils partirent, ils reçurent un cadeau de lait qui était apporté au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et il les fit appeler pour leur en donner à boire. Nous avons alors compris qu’il n’était pas fâché contre eux

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ، كَانَتْ إِذَا حَاضَتْ مِنْهُمُ امْرَأَةٌ أَخْرَجُوهَا مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَلَمْ يُؤَاكِلُوهَا وَلَمْ يُشَارِبُوهَا وَلَمْ يُجَامِعُوهَا فِي الْبَيْتِ فَسُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ { وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى فَاعْتَزِلُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيضِ } إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " جَامِعُوهُنَّ فِي الْبُيُوتِ وَاصْنَعُوا كُلَّ شَىْءٍ غَيْرَ النِّكَاحِ " . فَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ مَا يُرِيدُ هَذَا الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَدَعَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا إِلاَّ خَالَفَنَا فِيهِ . فَجَاءَ أُسَيْدُ بْنُ حُضَيْرٍ وَعَبَّادُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالاَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ تَقُولُ كَذَا وَكَذَا أَفَلاَ نَنْكِحُهُنَّ فِي الْمَحِيضِ فَتَمَعَّرَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنْ قَدْ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِمَا فَخَرَجَا فَاسْتَقْبَلَتْهُمَا هَدِيَّةٌ مِنْ لَبَنٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَبَعَثَ فِي آثَارِهِمَا فَسَقَاهُمَا فَظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَجِدْ عَلَيْهِمَا .
Traduction anglaise
Anas b. malik said:Among the jews, when a women menstruated, they ejected her from the house, and they did not eat with her, nor did they drink with her, nor did they associate with her in (their houses) so the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) was questioned about that. Thereupon Allah revealed : “They question thee concerning menstruation. Say : I: is an illness, so let woman alone at such times” (ii 222). The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) then said: Associate with them in the houses and do everything except sexual intercourse. Thereupon the Jews said: This man does not want to leave anything we do without opposing us in it. Usaid b. Hudair and Abbad b. Bishr came and said: Messenger of Allah, the jews are saying such and such a thing. Shall we not then have intercourse with women during mensuration? The face of the Apostle Allah(ﷺ) underwent such a change that we thought he was angry with them; but when they went out they received a gift of milk which was being brought to the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ), and he sent after them and gave them a drink, whereupon we thought that he was not angry with them
Traduction en ourdou
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہود کی عورتوں میں جب کسی کو حیض آتا تو وہ اسے گھر سے نکال دیتے تھے، نہ اس کو ساتھ کھلاتے پلاتے، نہ اس کے ساتھ ایک گھر میں رہتے تھے، اس کے متعلق رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے دریافت کیا گیا تو اس وقت اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی: «ويسألونك عن المحيض قل هو أذى فاعتزلوا النساء في المحيض» اے محمد! لوگ آپ سے حیض کے بارے میں سوال کرتے ہیں، تو کہہ دیجئیے کہ وہ گندگی ہے، لہٰذا حالت حیض میں تم عورتوں سے الگ رہو ، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم ان کے ساتھ گھروں میں رہو اور سارے کام کرو سوائے جماع کے ، یہ سن کر یہودیوں نے کہا: یہ شخص کوئی بھی ایسی چیز نہیں چھوڑنا چاہتا ہے جس میں وہ ہماری مخالفت نہ کرے، چنانچہ اسید بن حضیر اور عباد بن بشر رضی اللہ عنہما نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے اور آپ سے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! یہود ایسی ایسی باتیں کرتے ہیں، پھر ہم کیوں نہ ان سے حالت حیض میں جماع کریں؟ یہ سن کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا چہرہ مبارک متغیر ہو گیا، یہاں تک کہ ہم نے گمان کیا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان دونوں پر خفا ہو گئے ہیں، وہ دونوں ابھی نکلے ہی تھے کہ اتنے میں آپ کے پاس دودھ کا ہدیہ آ گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان دونوں کو بلا بھیجا اور ( جب وہ آئے تو ) انہیں دودھ پلایا، تب جا کر ہم کو یہ پتہ چلا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان دونوں سے ناراض نہیں ہیں۔
