كتاب الطهارة
‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه a dit : Une nuit, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ était occupé et il a tellement retardé la prière du soir (isha) que nous nous sommes assoupis dans la mosquée. Nous nous sommes réveillés, puis rendormis, puis réveillés à nouveau, puis rendormis. Il est alors venu vers nous et a dit : « Il n’y a que vous qui attendez la prière. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شُغِلَ عَنْهَا لَيْلَةً فَأَخَّرَهَا حَتَّى رَقَدْنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْنَا ثُمَّ رَقَدْنَا ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْنَا ثُمَّ رَقَدْنَا ثُمَّ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ " لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ غَيْرَكُمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
‘Abd Allah b. ‘Umar said:One night the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) was busy and he delayed the night (isha) prayer so much so that we dosed in the mosque. We awoke, then dozed, and again awoke and again dozed. He (the prophet) then came upon us and said: There is none except you who is waiting for prayer
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ ایک رات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لشکر کی تیاری میں مصروفیت کی بناء پر عشاء کی نماز میں دیر کر دی، یہاں تک کہ ہم مسجد میں سو گئے، پھر جاگے پھر سو گئے، پھر جاگے پھر سو گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نکلے اور فرمایا: ( اس وقت ) تمہارے علاوہ کوئی اور نماز کا انتظار نہیں کر رہا ہے ۔
