Rapporté par Aws ibn Abu Aws ath-Thaqafi رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a fait ses ablutions et a passé la main mouillée sur ses chaussures et ses pieds. Abbad (un sous-narrateur) a dit : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est venu au puits d’un peuple. Musaddad n’a pas mentionné les mots Midat (lieu d’ablution) ni Kazamah (puits). Ensuite, tous deux sont d’accord sur la formulation suivante : « Il a fait ses ablutions et a passé la main mouillée sur ses chaussures et ses pieds. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، وَعَبَّادُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، - قَالَ عَبَّادٌ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَوْسُ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ وَقَدَمَيْهِ . وَقَالَ عَبَّادٌ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَتَى كِظَامَةَ قَوْمٍ - يَعْنِي الْمِيضَأَةَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مُسَدَّدٌ الْمِيضَأَةَ وَالْكِظَامَةَ ثُمَّ اتَّفَقَا - فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ وَقَدَمَيْهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Aws ibn AbuAws ath-Thaqafi: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed ablution and wiped over his shoes and feet. Abbad (a sub-narrator) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to the well of a people. Musaddad did not mention the words Midat (a place where ablution is performed), and Kazamah (well). Then both agreed on the wording:"He performed ablution and wiped over his shoes and feet

اوس بن ابی اوس ثقفی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا اور اپنے جوتوں اور دونوں پاؤں پر مسح کیا۔ عباد کی روایت میں ہے: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، آپ ایک قوم کے «كظامة» یعنی وضو کی جگہ پر تشریف لائے۔ مسدد کی روایت میں «ميضأة» اور «كظامة» کا ذکر نہیں ہے، پھر آگے مسدد اور عباد دونوں کی روایتیں متفق ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا اور اپنے دونوں جوتوں اور دونوں پاؤں پر مسح کیا۔
