كتاب الطهارة
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-‘As : Un homme est venu voir le Prophète ﷺ et lui a demandé : « Messager d’Allah, comment doit-on faire les ablutions ? » Le Prophète ﷺ a alors demandé qu’on lui apporte de l’eau dans un récipient. Il s’est lavé les mains jusqu’aux poignets trois fois, puis le visage trois fois, puis les avant-bras trois fois. Ensuite, il a essuyé sa tête et a introduit ses index dans ses oreilles ; il a essuyé l’arrière des oreilles avec les pouces et l’avant avec les index. Puis il a lavé ses pieds trois fois. Ensuite, il a dit : « C’est ainsi qu’il faut faire les ablutions. Celui qui en fait plus ou moins que cela a mal agi et dépassé la limite, ou (il a dit) dépassé la limite et mal agi. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ الطُّهُورُ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فِي إِنَاءٍ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ فَأَدْخَلَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ السَّبَّاحَتَيْنِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَمَسَحَ بِإِبْهَامَيْهِ عَلَى ظَاهِرِ أُذُنَيْهِ وَبِالسَّبَّاحَتَيْنِ بَاطِنَ أُذُنَيْهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ " هَكَذَا الْوُضُوءُ فَمَنْ زَادَ عَلَى هَذَا أَوْ نَقَصَ فَقَدْ أَسَاءَ وَظَلَمَ " . أَوْ " ظَلَمَ وَأَسَاءَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked him: Messenger of Allah, how is the ablution (to performed)? He (the Prophet) then called for water in a vessel and washed his hands up to the wrists three times, then washed his face three times, and washed his forearms three times. He then wiped his head and inserted both his index fingers in his ear-holes; he wiped the back of his ears with his thumbs and the front of his ears with the index fingers. He then washed his feet three times. Then he said: This is how ablution should be performed. If anyone does more or less than this, he has done wrong and transgressed, or (said) transgressed and done wrong

عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور اس نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول! وضو کس طرح کیا جائے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک برتن میں پانی منگوایا اور اپنے دونوں پہونچوں کو تین بار دھویا، پھر چہرہ تین بار دھویا، پھر دونوں ہاتھ تین بار دھلے، پھر سر کا مسح کیا، اور شہادت کی دونوں انگلیوں کو اپنے دونوں کانوں میں داخل کیا، اور اپنے دونوں انگوٹھوں سے اپنے دونوں کانوں کے اوپری حصہ کا مسح کیا اور شہادت کی دونوں انگلیوں سے اپنے دونوں کانوں کے اندرونی حصہ کا مسح کیا، پھر اپنے دونوں پاؤں تین تین بار دھلے، پھر فرمایا: وضو ( کا طریقہ ) اسی طرح ہے جس شخص نے اس پر زیادتی یا کمی کی اس نے برا کیا، اور ظلم کیا ، یا فرمایا: ظلم کیا اور برا کیا ۔
