Rapporté par Abdullah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) priait sur sa monture pendant ses voyages, dans la direction où elle se trouvait, et il faisait la prière du Witr dessus, mais il ne faisait pas les prières obligatoires dessus

أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ قِبَلَ أَىِّ وَجْهٍ تَوَجَّهُ بِهِ وَيُوتِرُ عَلَيْهَا غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abdullah said:"The messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to pray atop his mount while traveling, facing whatever direction it was facing, and he would pray witr atop it, but he did not pray the prescribed prayers atop it

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سواری پر نماز پڑھتے خواہ وہ کسی بھی طرف آپ کو لے کر متوجہ ہوتی، وتر بھی اسی پر پڑھتے تھے، البتہ فرض نماز اس پر نہیں پڑھتے تھے۔
