Rapporté par 'Alqamah bin Waqqas : J'étais avec Mu'awiyah quand le muezzin a appelé à la prière. Mu'awiyah répétait ce que disait le muezzin, mais quand il disait : "Hayya 'alas-salah" (Venez à la prière), il répondait : "La hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah" (Il n'y a de force ni de puissance qu'en Allah) ; et quand il disait : "Hayya 'alal-falah" (Venez au succès), il répondait aussi : "La hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah". Après cela, il répétait ce que disait le muezzin, puis il a dit : "J'ai entendu le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) faire exactement ainsi

أَخْبَرَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمِقْسَمِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنَّ عِيسَى بْنَ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَقَّاصٍ، قَالَ إِنِّي عِنْدَ مُعَاوِيَةَ إِذْ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنُهُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ كَمَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ حَتَّى إِذَا قَالَ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ فَلَمَّا قَالَ حَىَّ عَلَى الْفَلاَحِ قَالَ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ وَقَالَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Alqamah bin Waqqas said:"I was with Mu'awiyah when the Mu'adhdhin called the Adhan. Muawiyah said what the Mu'adhdhin said, but when he said: 'Hayya 'alas-salah (come to prayer),' he said: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah);' and when he said: 'Hayya 'alal-falah (come to prosperity),' he said: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah (There is no power and no strength except with Allah).' After that he said what the Mu'adhdhin said, then he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) saying exactly like that
Traduction en ourdou
علقمہ بن وقاص کہتے ہیں کہ میں معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس تھا کہ ان کے مؤذن نے اذان دی، تو آپ ویسے ہی کہتے رہے جیسے مؤذن کہہ رہا تھا یہاں تک کہ جب اس نے «حى على الصلاة» کہا تو انہوں نے: «لا حول ولا قوة إلا باللہ» کہا، پھر جب اس نے «حى على الفلاح» کہا تو انہوں نے: «لا حول ولا قوة إلا باللہ» کہا، اور اس کے بعد مؤذن جس طرح کہتا رہا وہ بھی ویسے کہتے رہے پھر انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایسے ہی کہتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔
