Hadith 670 — Livre 7: The Book of the Adhan (The Call to Prayer)
كتاب الأذان
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Quand l’appel à la prière est lancé, le diable s’enfuit en faisant du bruit pour ne pas entendre l’appel. Quand l’appel est terminé, il revient. Et quand l’Iqamah est dite, il s’enfuit à nouveau, puis il revient après que ce soit fini pour distraire la personne en prière, en lui disant : “Souviens-toi de ceci, souviens-toi de cela”, des choses auxquelles il ne pensait pas, jusqu’à ce qu’il ne sache plus combien de rak’ahs il a prié. »

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاَةِ أَدْبَرَ الشَّيْطَانُ وَلَهُ ضُرَاطٌ حَتَّى لاَ يَسْمَعَ التَّأْذِينَ فَإِذَا قُضِيَ النِّدَاءُ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلاَةِ أَدْبَرَ حَتَّى إِذَا قُضِيَ التَّثْوِيبُ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى يَخْطِرَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَنَفْسِهِ يَقُولُ اذْكُرْ كَذَا اذْكُرْ كَذَا لِمَا لَمْ يَكُنْ يَذْكُرُ حَتَّى يَظَلَّ الْمَرْءُ إِنْ يَدْرِي كَمْ صَلَّى " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (S.A.W) said:"When the call for the prayer is given, the Shaitan takes to his heels, passing wind loudly so that he will not hear the call to prayer. When the call to prayer is finished, he comes back. And when the Iqamah is said, he again takes to his heels, and after it is completed, he returns again to interfere between the (praying) person and his heart, saying to him: 'Remember such and such, remember such and such,' - things that he had not remembered - until he does not know how many (Rak'ahs) he has prayed
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب نماز کے لیے اذان دی جاتی ہے تو شیطان گوز مارتا ہوا ۱؎ پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگتا ہے کہ اذان ( کی آواز ) نہ سنے، پھر جب اذان ہو چکتی ہے تو واپس لوٹ آتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب نماز کے لیے اقامت کہی جاتی ہے، تو ( پھر ) پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگتا ہے، اور جب اقامت ہو چکتی ہے تو ( پھر ) آ جاتا ہے یہاں تک کہ آدمی اور اس کے نفس کے درمیان وسوسے ڈالتا ہے، کہتا ہے ( کہ ) فلاں چیز یاد کر فلاں چیز یاد کر، پہلے یاد نہ تھیں یہاں تک کہ آدمی کا حال یہ ہو جاتا ہے کہ وہ جان نہیں پاتا کہ اس نے کتنی رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں ۔
