Hadith 640 — Livre 7: The Book of the Adhan (The Call to Prayer)
كتاب الأذان
Rapporté par Khubaib bin 'Abdur-Rahman, d’après sa tante paternelle Unaisah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Quand Ibn Umm Maktum fait l’Adhan, mangez et buvez, et quand Bilal fait l’Adhan, ne mangez ni ne buvez. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ، أُنَيْسَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا أَذَّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَإِذَا أَذَّنَ بِلاَلٌ فَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا وَلاَ تَشْرَبُوا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Khubaib bin 'Abdur-Rahman that his paternal aunt Unaisah said:"The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: 'When Ibn Umm Maktum calls the Adhan, eat and drink, and when Bilal calls the Adhan, do not eat nor drink

انیسہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب ( عبداللہ ) ابن ام مکتوم اذان دیں تو کھاؤ پیو، اور جب بلال اذان دیں تو کھانا پینا بند کر دو ۱؎۔
