Rapporté par Nafi' : "Nous sommes revenus avec Ibn 'Umar de La Mecque. Une nuit, il a continué à voyager jusqu'au soir, et nous avons pensé qu'il avait oublié la prière ! Mais il est resté silencieux et a continué jusqu'à ce que le crépuscule ait presque disparu, puis il s'est arrêté et a prié, et quand le crépuscule a disparu, il a prié 'Isha'. Ensuite, il s'est tourné vers nous et a dit : 'C'est ce que nous faisions avec le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) s'il était pressé de voyager

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةُ سَارَ بِنَا حَتَّى أَمْسَيْنَا فَظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ نَسِيَ الصَّلاَةَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ الصَّلاَةَ . فَسَكَتَ وَسَارَ حَتَّى كَادَ الشَّفَقُ أَنْ يَغِيبَ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى وَغَابَ الشَّفَقُ فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ هَكَذَا كُنَّا نَصْنَعُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Nafi' said:"We came back with Ibn 'Umar from Makkah. One night he kept on travelling until evening came, and we thought that he had forgotten the prayer!' But he kept quiet and kept going until the twilight had almost disappeared, then he stopped and prayed, and when the twilight disappeared he prayed 'Isha'. Then he turned to us and said: This is what we used to do with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) if he was in a hurry to travel
Traduction en ourdou
نافع کہتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم کے ساتھ مکہ مکرمہ سے آئے، تو جب وہ رات آئی تو وہ ہمیں لے کر چلے ( اور برابر چلتے رہے ) یہاں تک کہ ہم نے شام کر لی، اور ہم نے گمان کیا کہ وہ نماز بھول گئے ہیں، چنانچہ ہم نے ان سے کہا: نماز پڑھ لیجئیے، تو وہ خاموش رہے اور چلتے رہے یہاں تک کہ شفق ڈوبنے کے قریب ہو گئی ۱؎ پھر وہ اترے اور انہوں نے نماز پڑھی، اور جب شفق غائب ہو گئی تو عشاء پڑھی، پھر ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے، اور کہنے لگے: جب چلنے کی جلدی ہوتی تو ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایسا ہی کرتے تھے۔
