Hadith 532 — Livre 6: The Book of the Times (of Prayer)
كتاب الأوقات
Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a retardé l’Isha une nuit jusqu’à ce qu’une partie de la nuit soit passée. Ensuite, ‘Umar, رضي الله عنه, s’est levé et a appelé : « La prière, ô Messager d’Allah ! Les femmes et les enfants se sont endormis. » Alors le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est sorti avec de l’eau coulant de sa tête, en disant : « C’est (le meilleur) moment (pour l’Isha), si cela n’était pas trop difficile pour ma communauté. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ أَخَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعِشَاءَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَامَ عُمَرُ - رضى الله عنه - فَنَادَى الصَّلاَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَقَدَ النِّسَاءُ وَالْوِلْدَانُ . فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالْمَاءُ يَقْطُرُ مِنْ رَأْسِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " إِنَّهُ الْوَقْتُ لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:"The Prophet (ﷺ) delayed 'Isha' one night until part of the night had passed. Then 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, got up and called out: 'The prayer, O Messenger of Allah! The women and children have gone to sleep.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out with water dripping from his head, saying: 'This is (the best) time (for 'Isha'), were it not that this would be too difficult for my Ummah
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ ایک رات نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عشاء میں تاخیر کی یہاں تک کہ رات کا ( ایک حصہ ) گزر گیا، تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہوئے، اور آواز دی: اللہ کے رسول! صلاۃ! عورتیں اور بچے سو گئے، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نکلے، آپ کے سر سے پانی ٹپک رہا تھا، اور آپ فرما رہے تھے: یہی ( مناسب اور پسندیدہ ) وقت ہے، اگر میں اپنی امت پر شاق نہ سمجھتا ( تو اسے انہیں اسی وقت پڑھنے کا حکم دیتا ) ۔
