Hadith 511 — Livre 6: The Book of the Times (of Prayer)
كتاب الأوقات
Rapporté par Al-‘Ala’ : Il est entré chez Anas bin Malik dans sa maison à Al-Basrah, après qu’il ait terminé Zuhr, et sa maison était à côté de la mosquée. « Quand nous sommes entrés chez lui, il a dit : ‘Avez-vous prié ‘Asr ?’ Nous avons répondu : ‘Non, nous venons juste de finir Zuhr.’ Il a dit : ‘Priez ‘Asr.’ Nous nous sommes donc levés et avons prié, et quand nous avons terminé, il a dit : ‘J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : “C’est la prière de l’hypocrite : il s’assoit et retarde la prière de ‘Asr jusqu’à ce que (le soleil) soit entre les cornes du diable, puis il se lève et fait quatre unités rapidement, dans lesquelles il se souvient peu d’Allah.” »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرِ بْنِ إِيَاسِ بْنِ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ مُشَمْرِجِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاَءُ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ فِي دَارِهِ بِالْبَصْرَةِ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ - وَدَارُهُ بِجَنْبِ الْمَسْجِدِ - فَلَمَّا دَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ أَصَلَّيْتُمُ الْعَصْرَ قُلْنَا لاَ إِنَّمَا انْصَرَفْنَا السَّاعَةَ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ . قَالَ فَصَلُّوا الْعَصْرَ . قَالَ فَقُمْنَا فَصَلَّيْنَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفْنَا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " تِلْكَ صَلاَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ جَلَسَ يَرْقُبُ صَلاَةَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتْ بَيْنَ قَرْنَىِ الشَّيْطَانِ قَامَ فَنَقَرَ أَرْبَعًا لاَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهَا إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً " .
Traduction anglaise
Al-'Ala' narrated to us that he entered upon Anas bin Malik in his house in Al-Basrah, when he had finished Zuhr, and his house was beside the Masjid. "When we entered upon him, he said:'Have you prayed 'Asr?' We said: 'No, we have just finished Zuhr.' He said: 'Pray 'Asr.' So we got up and prayed, and when we finished he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "That is the prayer of the hypocrite: he sits and delays 'Asr prayer until (the sun) is between the horns of the Shaitan, then he gets up and pecks four (Rak'ahs) in which he only remembers Allah a little
Traduction en ourdou
علاء کہتے ہیں کہ وہ جس وقت ظہر پڑھ کر پلٹے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بصرہ میں ان کے گھر گئے، اور ان کا گھر مسجد کے بغل میں تھا، تو جب ہم لوگ ان کے پاس آئے تو انہوں نے پوچھا: کیا تم لوگوں نے عصر پڑھ لی؟ ہم نے کہا: نہیں، ہم لوگ ابھی ظہر پڑھ کر پلٹے ہیں، تو انہوں نے کہا: تو عصر پڑھ لو، ہم لوگ کھڑے ہوئے اور ہم نے عصر پڑھی، جب ہم پڑھ چکے تو انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: یہ منافق کی نماز ہے کہ بیٹھا عصر کا انتظار کرتا رہے یہاں تک کہ جب سورج شیطان کے دونوں سینگوں کے درمیان ہو جائے، ( غروب کے قریب ہو جائے ) تو اٹھے اور چار ٹھونگیں مار لے، اور اس میں اللہ کا ذکر معمولی سا کرے ۔
