Rapporté par ‘Imran bin Husain : Un homme a mordu un autre homme à l’avant-bras ; il a retiré son bras et une dent de devant est tombée. L’affaire a été portée devant le Messager d’Allah, qui a annulé (la compensation) et a dit : "Vouliez-vous mordre la chair de votre frère comme un cheval mord ?

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، عَضَّ آخَرَ عَلَى ذِرَاعِهِ فَاجْتَذَبَهَا فَانْتَزَعَتْ ثَنِيَّتَهُ فَرُفِعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَبْطَلَهَا وَقَالَ " أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَقْضَمَ لَحْمَ أَخِيكَ كَمَا يَقْضَمُ الْفَحْلُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Imran bin Husain that a man bit another man on the forearm:he pulled it away and a front tooth fell out. The matter was referred to the Messenger of Allah and he canceled (the Diyah) and said: "Did you want to bite your brother's flesh as a stallion bites?
