Hadith 422 — Livre 4: The Book of Ghusl and Tayammum
كتاب الغسل والتيمم
Rapporté par Abu Salamah, de la part de ‘Aïcha, et de ‘Amr bin Sa’d, de la part de Nafi’, de la part d’Ibn ‘Umar : ‘Umar a demandé au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) comment faire le ghusl de la Janabah — et les récits sont d’accord sur ce point — il faut commencer par verser de l’eau sur la main droite deux ou trois fois, puis mettre la main droite dans le récipient et verser de l’eau sur la partie intime, en lavant avec la main gauche jusqu’à ce que ce soit propre ; puis poser la main gauche sur la poussière si on le souhaite, puis verser de l’eau sur la main gauche jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit propre ; puis laver les mains trois fois, (aspirer de l’eau dans le nez) et se rincer la bouche, puis laver le visage et les avant-bras, trois fois chacun, puis en arrivant à la tête, il ne l’essuie pas mais verse de l’eau dessus. Voilà comment le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) faisait le ghusl selon ce qui a été rapporté

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - هُوَ ابْنُ سَمَاعَةَ - قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ وَاتَّسَقَتِ الأَحَادِيثُ عَلَى هَذَا يَبْدَأُ فَيُفْرِغُ عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى فِي الإِنَاءِ فَيَصُبُّ بِهَا عَلَى فَرْجِهِ وَيَدُهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَرْجِهِ فَيَغْسِلُ مَا هُنَالِكَ حَتَّى يُنْقِيَهُ ثُمَّ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى التُّرَابِ إِنْ شَاءَ ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى حَتَّى يُنْقِيَهَا ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ وَيُمَضْمِضُ وَيَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا ثَلاَثًا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ رَأْسَهُ لَمْ يَمْسَحْ وَأَفْرَغَ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ فَهَكَذَا كَانَ غُسْلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِيمَا ذُكِرَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Salamah from 'Aishah, and, from 'Amr bin Sa'd, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar:That 'Umar asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about Ghusl from Janabah - and the narrations agree on this - that one should start by pouring water on the right hand two or three times, then put the right hand into the vessel and pour water with it onto the private parts, with the left hand on the private parts to wash off whatever is there, until it is clean; then put the left hand on the dust if one wants to, then pour water over the left hand until it is clean; then wash the hands three times, (sniff water into the nose) and rinse the mouth, and wash the face and forearms, three times each until when reaching the head, he does not wipe the head, rather he pours water over it. This is how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed Ghusl according to what was mentioned

ام المؤمنین عائشہ اور ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم سے روایت ہے کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے غسل جنابت کے متعلق سوال کیا، اس جگہ دونوں احادیث ( عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا اور ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی ) متفق ہو جاتی ہیں کہ آپ ( غسل ) شروع کرتے تو پہلے اپنے داہنے ہاتھ پر دو یا تین بار پانی ڈالتے، پھر اپنا داہنا ہاتھ برتن میں داخل کرتے، اس سے اپنی شرمگاہ پر پانی ڈالتے، اور آپ کا بایاں ہاتھ شرمگاہ پر ہوتا، تو جو گندگی وہاں ہوتی دھوتے یہاں تک کہ اسے صاف کر دیتے، پھر اگر چاہتے تو بایاں ہاتھ مٹی پر ملتے، پھر اس پر پانی بہا کر صاف کر لیتے، پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھ تین بار دھوتے، ناک میں پانی ڈالتے، کلی کرتے اور اپنا چہرہ اور دونوں بازووں تین تین مرتبہ دھوتے، یہاں تک کہ جب اپنے سر کے پاس پہنچتے تو اس کا مسح نہیں کرتے، اس کے اوپر پانی بہا لیتے، تو اسی طرح جیسا کہ ذکر کیا گیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا غسل ( جنابت ) ہوتا تھا۔
