كتاب الغسل والتيمم
Rapporté par Maimouna : J’ai préparé de l’eau pour le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), puis je l’ai caché — elle a expliqué comment il a fait le ghusl — puis elle a dit : « Ensuite, je lui ai apporté un tissu (une serviette), mais il n’en a pas voulu. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، قَالَتْ وَضَعْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَاءً - قَالَتْ - فَسَتَرْتُهُ فَذَكَرَتِ الْغُسْلَ قَالَتْ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ بِخِرْقَةٍ فَلَمْ يُرِدْهَا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Maimunah said:"I put some water out for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), then I concealed him" - and she mentioned how he performed Ghusl, then she said: "Then I brought him a cloth (a towel) but he did not want it

ام المؤمنین میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے پانی رکھا، پھر میں نے آپ کے لیے پردہ کیا، پھر آپ نے غسل کا ذکر کیا، پھر میں آپ کے پاس ایک کپڑا لے کر آئی تو آپ نے اسے نہیں ( لینا ) چاہا۔
