Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلاً يُهَادَى بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ فَقَالَ " مَا هَذَا " . قَالُوا نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْ تَعْذِيبِ هَذَا نَفْسَهُ مُرْهُ فَلْيَرْكَبْ " .

It was narrated that Anas said:"The Prophet saw a man being supported by two others and said: 'What is this?' They said: 'He vowed to walk to the House of Allah.' He said: 'Allah has no need for this man to torture himself. Tell him to ride

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ وہ دو آدمیوں کے بیچ میں ان کے کندھے پر ہاتھ رکھ کر چل رہا ہے، آپ نے فرمایا: یہ کیا ہے؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اس نے نذر مانی ہے کہ وہ بیت اللہ تک پیدل چل کر جائے گا، آپ نے فرمایا: اس طرح اپنی جان کو تکلیف دینے کی اللہ کو ضرورت نہیں، اس سے کہو کہ سوار ہو کر جائے ۱؎۔
