Rapporté par Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Si tu fais un serment, puis tu vois quelque chose de meilleur, alors fais ce qui est meilleur et offre une expiation pour ton serment. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ يَعْنِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا حَلَفْتَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَيْتَ غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If you swear an oath, then you see something that is better, then do that which is better and offer expiation for your oath
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمٰن بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم کسی بات کی قسم کھاؤ پھر اس کے علاوہ بات کو اس سے بہتر پاؤ تو وہی کرو جو بہتر ہو اور اپنی قسم کا کفارہ دے دو ۔
