Rapporté par 'Adiyy bin Hatim : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui fait un serment, puis voit quelque chose de meilleur, qu’il fasse ce qui est meilleur et offre une expiation pour son serment. »

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ وَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Hatim said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever swears an oath, then sees something better than it, let him do that which is better and offer expiation for his oath
Traduction en ourdou
عدی بن حاتم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو کسی بات کی قسم کھائے پھر اس کے علاوہ کو اس سے بہتر پائے تو وہی کرے جو بہتر ہے اور اپنی قسم کا کفارہ ادا کرے ۱؎۔
