Hadith 3764 — Livre 35: The Book of Agriculture
كتاب المزارعة
Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui jure, qu’il ne jure que par Allah. » Les Quraish avaient l’habitude de jurer par leurs ancêtres, alors il a dit : « Ne jurez pas par vos ancêtres. »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلاَ يَحْلِفْ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ " . وَكَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ تَحْلِفُ بِآبَائِهَا فَقَالَ " لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever swears, let him not swear by anything other than Allah.'" The Quraish used to swear by their forefathers, and so he said: "Do not swear by your forefathers

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو قسم کھائے تو وہ اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کی قسم نہ کھائے ، اور قریش اپنے باپ دادا کی قسم کھاتے تھے تو آپ نے فرمایا: تم اپنے باپ دادا کی قسم نہ کھاؤ ۔
