Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : « Il ne nous convient pas de donner de mauvais exemples. Celui qui reprend son cadeau ressemble à un chien qui revient à son vomi. »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَيْسَ لَنَا مَثَلُ السَّوْءِ الرَّاجِعُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْكَلْبِ فِي قَيْئِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'It does not befit us to leave bad examples. The one who takes back his gift is like a dog with its vomit
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ہمارے لیے بری مثال ( زیبا ) نہیں، ہبہ کر کے واپس لینے والا اس کتے کی طرح ہے جو قے کر کے کھا لیتا ہے“۔
