Rapporté par Bashir : Il a offert un esclave à son fils, puis il est allé voir le Prophète pour qu'il soit témoin de ce don. Le Prophète a dit : "As-tu offert un cadeau similaire à tous tes enfants ?" Il a répondu : "Non." Le Prophète a dit : "Alors reprends ton cadeau

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّهُ نَحَلَ ابْنَهُ غُلاَمًا فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يُشْهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " أَكُلَّ وَلَدِكَ نَحَلْتَهُ مِثْلَ ذَا " . قَالَ لاَ . قَالَ " فَارْدُدْهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Bashir that he gave his son a slave as a present, then he came to the Prophet and he wanted the Prophet to bear witness to that. He said:"Have you given a similar present to all of your children?" He said: "No." He said: "Then take (your present) back
Traduction en ourdou
بشیر رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنے بیٹے کو ایک غلام بطور عطیہ دیا، پھر وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس اس ارادہ سے آئے کہ آپ کو اس پر گواہ بنا دیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم نے اپنے ہر بیٹے کو ایسا ہی عطیہ دیا ہے؟“ انہوں نے کہا: نہیں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تو اسے لوٹا لو“۔
