Hadith 3672 — Livre 31: The Book of Presents
كتاب العطايا
Rapporté par An-Nu'man bin Bashir : Son père lui a offert un esclave en cadeau, puis il est venu voir le Prophète ﷺ pour lui demander d'en être témoin. Il a dit : « As-tu offert un cadeau à tous tes enfants ? » Il a répondu : « Non. » Il a dit : « Alors reprends-le. » Cette version est celle de Muhammad (l'un des rapporteurs)

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، نَحَلَهُ غُلاَمًا فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُشْهِدُهُ فَقَالَ " أَكُلَّ وَلَدِكَ نَحَلْتَ " . قَالَ لاَ . قَالَ " فَارْدُدْهُ " . وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from An-Nu'man bin Bashir that his father gave him a slave as a present, then he came to the Prophet to ask him to bear witness (to that). He said:"Have you given a present to all of your children?" He said: "No." He said: "Then take it back." This wording is that of (one of the narrators) Muhammad
Traduction en ourdou
نعمان بن بشیر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ انہیں ان کے والد نے ایک غلام ہبہ کیا، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے کہ آپ کو اس پر گواہ بنائیں۔ آپ نے پوچھا: ”کیا تم نے اپنے سبھی بیٹوں کو یہ عطیہ دیا ہے؟“ انہوں نے کہا: نہیں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تو تم اسے واپس لے لو“۔ اس حدیث کے الفاظ محمد ( راوی ) کے ہیں۔
