كتاب الطلاق
Rapporté par 'Amr : J'ai entendu Sa'eed bin Jubair dire : "J'ai interrogé Ibn 'Umar à propos des deux qui font le Li'an. Il a dit : 'Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit aux deux qui faisaient le Li'an : Votre jugement appartient à Allah. L'un de vous ment, et tu ne peux pas rester avec elle.' Il a dit : Ô Messager d'Allah, mes biens ! Il répondit : Tu n'as droit à aucun bien. Si tu dis la vérité à son sujet, c'est en échange de l'intimité que tu as eue avec elle, et si tu mens, tu y as encore moins droit

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، يَقُولُ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْمُتَلاَعِنَيْنِ، فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِلْمُتَلاَعِنَيْنِ " حِسَابُكُمَا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَحَدُكُمَا كَاذِبٌ وَلاَ سَبِيلَ لَكَ عَلَيْهَا " . قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَالِي قَالَ " لاَ مَالَ لَكَ إِنْ كُنْتَ صَدَقْتَ عَلَيْهَا فَهُوَ بِمَا اسْتَحْلَلْتَ مِنْ فَرْجِهَا وَإِنْ كُنْتَ كَذَبْتَ عَلَيْهَا فَذَاكَ أَبْعَدُ لَكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Amr said:"I heard Sa'eed bin Jubair say: 'I asked Ibn 'Umar about the two who engage in Li'an. He said: 'The Messenger of Allah said to the two who engaged in Li'an: Your reckoning will be with Allah. One of you is lying, and you cannot stay with her. He said: O Messenger of Allah, my wealth! He said: You are not entitled to any wealth. If you are telling the truth about her, then it is in return for having been allowed intimacy with her, and if you are lying then you are even less entitled to it

سعید بن جبیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے لعان کرنے والوں کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لعان کرنے والوں سے کہا: تمہارا حساب تو اللہ تعالیٰ کے پاس ہے۔ تم میں سے کوئی ایک ضرور جھوٹا ہے، ( مرد سے کہا: ) تمہارا اب اس ( عورت ) پر کچھ حق و اختیار نہیں ہے ۱؎، مرد نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میرے مال کا کیا ہو گا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”تمہارا کوئی مال نہیں ہے۔ اگر تم نے اس پر صحیح تہمت لگائی ہے تو تم نے اب تک اس کی شرمگاہ سے حلت کا جو فائدہ حاصل کیا ہے وہ مال اس کا بدل ہو گیا اور اگر تم نے اس عورت پر جھوٹا الزام لگایا ہے تو یہ تو تمہارے لیے اور بھی غیر مناسب ہے“ ۲؎۔
