Hadith 3373 — Livre 26: The Book of Marriage
كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Anas : ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Awf est venu avec une trace de safran sur lui, et le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a demandé : « Pourquoi cela ? » Il a répondu : « Je me suis marié. » Il a demandé : « Quelle dot as-tu donnée ? » Il a répondu : « Le poids d’un Nawah (cinq dirhams) en or. » Il a dit : « Organise un Walimah (festin de mariage) même si c’est avec un seul mouton. »

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ، جَاءَ وَعَلَيْهِ رَدْعٌ مِنْ زَعْفَرَانٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَهْيَمْ " . قَالَ تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً . قَالَ " وَمَا أَصْدَقْتَ " . قَالَ وَزْنَ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ . قَالَ " أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Anas that 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf came with a trace of saffron on him, and the Messenger of Allah said:"What's this for?" He said: "I have married a woman." He said: "What dowry did you give?" He said: "The weight of a Nawah (five Dirhams) of gold." He said: "Give a Walimah (wedding feast) even if it is with one sheep
Traduction en ourdou
انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ آئے اور ان پر زعفران کے رنگ کا اثر تھا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہا: ”یہ کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ایک عورت سے شادی کی ہے ( یہ اسی کا اثر و نشان ہے ) ۔ آپ نے پوچھا؟ مہر کتنا دیا؟ کہا: کھجور کی گٹھلی کے وزن کے برابر سونا، آپ نے فرمایا: ولیمہ کرو اگرچہ ایک بکری ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔
