Rapporté par 'Alqamah : Il a été rapporté que 'Alqamah a dit : "Je marchais avec 'Abdullah à Mina et il a rencontré 'Uthman qui s'est arrêté avec lui et a discuté avec lui. Il a dit : 'Ô Abu Abdur-Rahman ! Ne veux-tu pas que je te marie à une jeune fille ? Peut-être qu'elle te rappellera ta jeunesse ?' 'Abdullah a dit : 'Comme tu dis cela, cela me rappelle que le Messager d'Allah nous a dit : Ô jeunes gens, que celui d'entre vous qui en a les moyens se marie

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، قَالَ كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِمِنًى فَلَقِيَهُ عُثْمَانُ فَقَامَ مَعَهُ يُحَدِّثُهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَلاَ أُزَوِّجُكَ جَارِيَةً شَابَّةً فَلَعَلَّهَا أَنْ تُذَكِّرَكَ بَعْضَ مَا مَضَى مِنْكَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَمَا لَئِنْ قُلْتَ ذَاكَ لَقَدْ قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمُ الْبَاءَةَ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated 'Alqamah:It was narrated that 'Alqamah said: "I was walking with 'Abdullah in Mina and he was met by 'Uthman who stood with him and spoke with him. He said: 'O Abu Abdur-Rahman! Shall I not marry you to a young girl? Perhaps she will remind you of when you were younger?' 'Abdullah said: 'As you say that (it reminds me that) the Messenger of Allah said to us: O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married
Traduction en ourdou
علقمہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں منی میں عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ جا رہا تھا کہ ان سے عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کی ملاقات ہو گئی تو وہ ان سے کھڑے ہو کر باتیں کرنے لگے۔ اور کہا: ابوعبدالرحمٰن! کیا میں آپ کی شادی ایک نوجوان لڑکی سے نہ کرا دوں؟ توقع ہے وہ آپ کو آپ کے ماضی کی بہت سی باتیں یاد دلا دے گی، تو عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: آپ مجھ سے یہ بات آج کہہ رہے ہیں؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ بات ہم سے بہت پہلے اس طرح کہہ چکے ہیں: ”اے نوجوانوں کی جماعت! تم میں سے جو بیوی کے نان و نفقہ ادا کرنے کی طاقت رکھے تو اس کو نکاح کر لینا چاہیئے“۔
