Hadith 3155 — Livre 25: The Book of Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Un homme est venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) alors qu’il faisait un sermon sur le Minbar, et il a dit : « Si je combats dans la voie d’Allah avec patience et en cherchant la récompense, en faisant face à l’ennemi sans fuir, penses-tu qu’Allah pardonnera mes péchés ? » Il répondit : « Oui. » Puis il resta silencieux un moment. Ensuite il dit : « Où est celui qui posait la question tout à l’heure ? » L’homme répondit : « Me voici. » Il dit : « Qu’as-tu demandé ? » Il répondit : « J’ai dit : Si je combats dans la voie d’Allah avec patience et en cherchant la récompense, en faisant face à l’ennemi sans fuir, penses-tu qu’Allah pardonnera mes péchés ? » Il répondit : « Oui, sauf la dette. Jibril vient de me l’annoncer. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَاتَلْتُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ صَابِرًا مُحْتَسِبًا مُقْبِلاً غَيْرَ مُدْبِرٍ أَيُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ عَنِّي سَيِّئَاتِي قَالَ " نَعَمْ " . ثُمَّ سَكَتَ سَاعَةً قَالَ " أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ آنِفًا " . فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ هَا أَنَا ذَا . قَالَ " مَا قُلْتَ " . قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قُتِلْتُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ صَابِرًا مُحْتَسِبًا مُقْبِلاً غَيْرَ مُدْبِرٍ أَيُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ عَنِّي سَيِّئَاتِي قَالَ " نَعَمْ إِلاَّ الدَّيْنَ سَارَّنِي بِهِ جِبْرِيلُ آنِفًا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was delivering a Khutbah from the Minbar, and he said: 'If I fight in the cause of Allah with patience and seeking reward, facing the enemy and not running away, do you think that Allah will forgive my sins?' He said: 'Yes.' Then he fell silent for a while. Then he said: 'Where is the one who was asking just now?' The man said: 'Here I am.' He said: 'What did you say?' He said: 'What did you say?' He said: 'I said: I said: If I fight in the cause of Allah with patience and seeking reward,facing the enemy and not running away, do you think that Allah will forgive my sins?' He said: 'Yes, except for debt. Jibril told me that just now
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر خطبہ دے رہے تھے کہ ایک شخص نے آ کر عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ بتائیے اگر میں اللہ کے راستے میں ثواب کی نیت رکھتے ہوئے جنگ کروں، اور جم کر لڑوں، آگے بڑھتا رہوں پیٹھ دکھا کر نہ بھاگوں، تو کیا اللہ تعالیٰ میرے گناہ مٹا دے گا؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ہاں“، پھر ایک لمحہ خاموشی کے بعد آپ نے پوچھا: ”سائل اب کہاں ہے“؟ وہ آدمی بولا: ہاں ( جی ) میں حاضر ہوں، ( یا رسول اللہ! ) آپ نے فرمایا: ”تم نے کیا کہا تھا؟“ اس نے کہا: آپ بتائیں اگر میں اللہ کے راستے میں جم کر اجر و ثواب کی نیت سے آگے بڑھتے ہوئے، پیٹھ نہ دکھاتے ہوئے لڑتا ہوا مارا جاؤں تو کیا اللہ میرے گناہ بخش دے گا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”ہاں ( بخش دے گا ) سوائے قرض کے، جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے آ کر ابھی ابھی مجھے چپکے سے یہی بتایا ہے“ ۱؎۔
