Hadith 3153 — Livre 25: The Book of Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Ibn Abi 'Amirah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Il n’y a aucune âme musulmane parmi les gens, dont le Seigneur reprend la vie et qui souhaiterait revenir vers vous, même si elle possédait ce monde et tout ce qu’il contient, sauf le martyr. » Ibn Abi 'Amirah a dit : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Si je devais être tué dans la voie d’Allah, cela me serait plus cher que si tous les habitants des déserts et des villes m’appartenaient. »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمِيرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا مِنَ النَّاسِ مِنْ نَفْسٍ مُسْلِمَةٍ يَقْبِضُهَا رَبُّهَا تُحِبُّ أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنَّ لَهَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا غَيْرُ الشَّهِيدِ " . قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَمِيرَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَلأَنْ أُقْتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ لِي أَهْلُ الْوَبَرِ وَالْمَدَرِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn Abi 'Amirah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:"There is no Muslim soul among the people that is taken by its Lord and wishes it could come back to you, even if it had this world and everything in it, except the martyr." Ibn Abi 'Amirah said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'If I were to be killed in the cause of Allah, that would be dearer to me that if all the people of the deserts and the cities were to be mine.'"[1] [1] Meaning: If they were all my slaves and I set them free
Traduction en ourdou
ابن ابی عمیرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کوئی بھی مسلمان شخص جو اپنی زندگی کے دن پورے کر کے اس دنیا سے جا چکا ہو یہ پسند نہیں کرتا کہ وہ پھر لوٹ کر تمہارے پاس اس دنیا میں آئے اگرچہ اسے دنیا اور دنیا کی ساری چیزیں دے دی جائیں سوائے شہید کے ۱؎، مجھے اپنا اللہ کے راستے میں قتل کر دیا جانا اس سے زیادہ پسند ہے کہ میری ملکیت میں دیہات، شہر و قصبات کے لوگ ہوں“ ۲؎۔
