Hadith 3136 — Livre 25: The Book of Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari : Un Bédouin est venu voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et a dit : « Un homme combat pour la renommée, un autre pour le butin, un autre pour se faire remarquer. Qui est celui qui combat dans la cause d’Allah ? » Il a répondu : « Celui qui combat pour que la parole d’Allah soit la plus haute, c’est lui qui combat dans la cause d’Allah, le Tout-Puissant et Majestueux. »

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ مُرَّةَ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيُّ، قَالَ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِيُذْكَرَ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيَغْنَمَ وَيُقَاتِلُ لِيُرَى مَكَانُهُ فَمَنْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ " مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari said:"A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: 'A man fights for fame, or he fights for the spoils of war, or he fights to show off. Who is the one who is fighting in the cause of Allah?' He said: 'The one who fights so that the word of Allah will be supreme is the one who is fighting in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime
Traduction en ourdou
ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک اعرابی ( دیہاتی ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور کہا: آدمی لڑتا ہے تاکہ اس کا ذکر اور چرچا ہو ۱؎، لڑتا ہے تاکہ مال غنیمت حاصل کرے، لڑتا ہے تاکہ اللہ کے راستے میں لڑنے والوں میں اس کا مقام و مرتبہ جانا پہچانا جائے تو کس لڑنے والے کو اللہ کے راستے کا مجاہد کہیں گے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ کے راستے کا مجاہد اسے کہیں گے جو اللہ کا کلمہ ۲؎ بلند کرنے کے لیے لڑے“۔
