كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : "J'ai entendu le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) dire : 'Par Celui qui détient mon âme dans Sa main, si ce n'était pas pour le fait qu'il y a parmi les croyants des hommes qui n'aimeraient pas rester en arrière (quand je pars en expédition) et que je n'ai pas les moyens de leur fournir des montures (pour qu'ils m'accompagnent), je ne serais jamais resté à l'écart d'aucune expédition ou bataille dans la voie d'Allah. Par Celui qui détient mon âme dans Sa main, j'aimerais être tué dans la voie d'Allah, puis revenir à la vie, puis être tué, puis revenir à la vie, puis être tué, puis revenir à la vie, puis être tué

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُفَيْرٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُسَافِرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلاَ أَنَّ رِجَالاً مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لاَ تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا عَنِّي وَلاَ أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَا تَخَلَّفْتُ عَنْ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Hurairah said:"I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, were it not for the fact that there are some believing men who would not feel happy to stay behind (when I go out on a campaign) and I do not have the means to provide them with mounts (so that they cn join me), I would not have stayed behind from any campaign or battle in the cause of Allah. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I wish that I could be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life, then be killed, then be brought back to life, then be killed then be brought back to life, then be killed
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: ”قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے۔ اگر بہت سے مسلمانوں کو مجھ سے پیچھے رہنا ناگوار نہ ہوتا اور میں ایسی چیز نہ پاتا جس پر انہیں سوار کر کے لے جاتا تو کسی ایسے فوجی دستے سے جو اللہ عزوجل کے راستے میں جہاد کے لیے نکلا ہو پیچھے نہ رہتا، ( لیکن چونکہ مجبوری ہے اس لیے ایسے مجبور کے لیے فوجی دستے کے ساتھ نہ جانے کی رخصت ہے ) اور قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے قبضہ میں میری جان ہے مجھے پسند ہے کہ میں اللہ کے راستے میں قتل کیا جاؤں، پھر زندہ کیا جاؤں، پھر قتل کیا جاؤں، پھر زندہ کیا جاؤں، پھر قتل کیا جاؤں، پھر زندہ کیا جاؤں، پھر قتل کیا جاؤں۔
