كتاب الصيام
Rapporté par Hunaidah bin Khalid, de sa femme, qu’une des épouses du Prophète a dit : « Le Prophète jeûnait les dix (jours), et trois jours chaque mois : le lundi et le jeudi. »

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي صَفْوَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ الصَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ هُنَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُ الْعَشْرَ وَثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ الاِثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Hunaidah bin Khalid, from his wife, that one of the wives of the Prophet said:"The Prophet used to fast the ten (days), and three days of each month: Monday and Thursday

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ایک بیوی کہتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( ذی الحجہ کے پہلے ) عشرہ میں روزے رکھتے تھے، اور ہر مہینہ میں تین دن: دوشنبہ ( پیر ) اور ( دو ) جمعرات کو۔
