Rapporté par Uthman bin Abi Al-As : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah dire : « C’est un bon jeûne de jeûner trois jours chaque mois. »

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، أَنَّ مُطَرِّفًا، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " صِيَامٌ حَسَنٌ ثَلاَثَةُ أَيَّامٍ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Uthman bin Abi Al-As said:"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'It is a good fast to fast three days of each month

عثمان بن ابی العاص رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”ہر مہینے کے تین دن کے روزہ بہترین روزہ ہیں“۔
