Hadith 2386 — Livre 22: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصيام
Rapporté par 'Amr bin Shurahbil : Un homme est venu voir le Messager d'Allah ﷺ et a dit : "Ô Messager d'Allah, que dis-tu d'un homme qui jeûne toute sa vie ?" Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a répondu : "J'aurais préféré qu'il ne mange jamais de sa vie." Il a dit : "Les deux tiers de la vie ?" Il a répondu : "C'est déjà trop." Il a dit : "La moitié ?" Il a répondu : "Voulez-vous que je vous dise ce qui purifie le cœur ?" Il a dit : "Oui." Il a dit : "Jeûner trois jours chaque mois." 'Ata a ajouté : "Quelqu'un qui l'a entendu m'a dit qu'Ibn 'Umar a rapporté que le Prophète ﷺ a dit : Celui qui jeûne tous les jours de sa vie, alors il n'a pas vraiment jeûné

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا تَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ صَامَ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَدِدْتُ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَطْعَمِ الدَّهْرَ شَيْئًا " . قَالَ فَثُلُثَيْهِ قَالَ " أَكْثَرَ " . قَالَ فَنِصْفَهُ قَالَ " أَكْثَرَ " . قَالَ " أَفَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَا يُذْهِبُ وَحَرَ الصَّدْرِ " . قَالُوا بَلَى . قَالَ " صِيَامُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Amr bin Shurahbil said:"A man came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who fated for the rest of his life?' The Messenger of Allah said: 'I wish that he would never eat for the rest of his life.' He said: 'Two-thirds ( of a lifetime)?' he said: 'That is too much.' He said: 'Half?' He said: 'Shall I not tell you of that which will take away impurity from the heart?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Fasting for three days each month."' 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Prophet said: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life, then he has not fasted
Traduction en ourdou
عمرو بن شرحبیل کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ اس شخص کے بارے میں کیا فرماتے ہیں جو صیام الدھر رکھے؟ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں تو یہ چاہوں گا کہ کبھی کچھ کھائے ہی نہ“، اس نے کہا: اس کا دو تہائی رکھے تو؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”زیادہ ہے“، اس نے کہا: آدھے ایام رکھے تو؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”زیادہ ہے“، پھر آپ نے فرمایا: ”کیا میں تمہیں وہ چیز نہ بتاؤں جو سینے کی سوزش کو ختم کر دے“، لوگوں نے کہا: جی ہاں ( ضرور بتائیے ) آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہ ہر مہینے میں تین دن کا روزہ ہے“۔
